Rene: I have a VERY low cervix so cups get in the way of even urination. This is only product that enables me to still do normal things. Self emptying can be done if at difficult place to empty…see other media places on how to.

I find cups hard to use (they won’t ever “unfold” properly and cause leakage) but the disks feel less abrasive than tampons and more dependable than pads… All in all, I won’t ever use any other product again! For cups: Fold the cup (C-fold or punch-down works best), insert it like a tampon, and let it pop open inside the vagina. It’ll create a gentle seal that prevents leaks.
For discs: Pinch the sides together, insert it back and up, then tuck the front rim behind your pubic bone to keep it secure.
